Black River Innovation Campus is pleased to announce five weeks of summer camps centered around STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics!

Our offerings for summer 2024 are currently full, but please join our wait list for an opportunity to participate in the event an open space becomes available!

Camps are for students in grades 6-12,
beginning July 8th, 2024.
They run 9am-1pm, Monday - Friday.

Week 1: Fun With Robots!

Science (July 8-12 at BRIC)

Want to learn to control robots? This is your camp! Explore the basics of Lego League, VEX, and Aerial Drones! Learn to use robots’ sensors and motors to complete fun tasks!

Week 2: Aeronautical Engineering!

Technology (July 15-19 at BRIC)

Ever wonder how things fly? Let’s find out and build some of our own flying objects… Join us for plenty of fun and learning! We’ll make - and maybe break 😂- a variety of flying objects, from paper airplanes to bottle rockets.

Week 3: Fun With Lasers!

Engineering (July 22-26 at BRIC)

Who doesn’t want to learn how to use a laser! Design and build custom projects made with a state of the art CO2 laser cutter. We’ll make a number of different projects that you’ll be able to bring home and keep.

Week 4: Virtual Reality Create!

Arts (July 29-Aug 3 at RVTC)

Want to dive into VR? Now’s your chance! Explore the fundamentals of Virtual Reality inside our Meta Quest 3 VR headsets! Learn to create your own 3D Virtual space and go exploring!

Week 5: Lets make a Video Game!

Mathematics (Aug 5-9 at RVTC)

Want to make your own video game? Come explore the basics of game building, and create some awesome content within EndStar and Godot - two amazing game creation engines!
